It seems not too people see the splendid beauty of salad fingers. He is just an ordinary man with his own views and that in itself is his reason for existing. His childish mannerisms mixed with adult dialect has show that even those who seem psychologically unstable, are at a state of Nirvana and content. Bravo on your character design.
